Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a compact and portable device for bundling a batch of wires with cable ties by taking cable ties connected in a belt one by one, and by positioning the individual cable tie around the batch of wires, and then by cutting extra parts while applying tension.
CONSTITUTION: A bundling device 50 comprises a handle 60 having a built-in electric motor, a portable battery pack 62 connected to the device 50 via a power cord 63, a housing 64 with a U-shaped guide 65 attached to guide a belt of cable ties 52, and a string collector 66 for collecting cut strings discharged from a tie discharge opening 67 to the outside of the device 50. In addition, the bundling device 50 includes an upper jaw 68 and a lower jaw 69 that is opened by a trigger 70. Further, the bundling device 50 is provided with a containing mechanism for positioning the tie 52 and cutting a leading portion of the tie 52 in the housing 64, a discharging mechanism for receiving the cut tie 52 and poisoning the cut tie 52 around the wire bundle, and a tension cut-off mechanism for cutting extra parts while applying tension to the tie 52.
