Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable cutting machine which can improve dust collection performance of chips without utilizing motor cooling wind for dust collection of the chips.SOLUTION: The portable cutting machine includes: a motor 13; a saw blade 14 which is rotated by the motor 13 and cuts a material to be cut; and a chip housing part 20 which is arranged on an upper part of the saw blade 14 and houses chips. The chip housing part 20 includes a housing chamber 25 as a housing space of the chips, and an introducing passage 26 communicating with the housing chamber 25. The introducing passage 26 includes an opening part which opens so as to face to an outer circumferential edge 14b of the saw blade 14, and a throttle part 26f formed in a middle part of the introducing passage 26 by putting front and back wall parts of the introducing passage 26 gradually closer to each other.
