To provide an IC card for calculating information showing similarity between collation object data and registration data, and determining whether or not both the data are similar.
An IC card includes reception means, storage means, calculation means, determination means and output means. The reception means receives collation object data presented with a command from an external device. The storage means stores registration data to be compared with the collation object data. The calculation means calculates information showing similarity between the collation object data and the registration data. The determination means determines whether or not the collation object data and the registration data are similar on the basis of the information showing the similarity calculated by the calculation means and a determination reference value. The output means outputs the determination result of the determination means to the external device.
