Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the increase in the size of portable radio equipment by arranging a linear antenna like a loop around a liquid crystal so as to house the antenna in a small space.
SOLUTION: Liquid crystal display surface 4 is fitted to a mount 1. A flexible antenna 5 obtained by constituting an antenna of an electrolytic copper film coated on a polyamide is stuck onto the mount 1 A surrounding the surface 4 with an adhesive on a rear surface. A linear antenna 5a made of an electrolytic copper on a polymide to operate at a prescribed frequency is integrally formed with the antenna 5. The surrounding of the surface 4 of a liquid crystal module unit is made an antenna housing space and the thin flexible antenna 5 is directly fixed to the liquid crystal module unit. Thereby, a housing space is secured and assemblingis facilitated. The freedom of antenna design is high at the surrounding of the surface 4.
