Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the operability and the workability of a portable terminal equipment which is suitable to read the objects such as bar codes, etc., and to process the information by setting the trigger keys of a laser scanner unit at the easy-to-operate positions for operator.
CONSTITUTION: An input part is provided on the main body 1 of the portable terminal equipment for input of data and the information including an operation command. At the same time, a laser scanner unit 2 which radiates the light on a prescribed reading object and receives the light reflected on the object to obtain the read information is unified with the main body 1. Thus, the terminal equipment has a reading function. The trigger keys which are operated to start the reading operation of the unit 2 are allocated at the input parts 7 and 8 formed on the main body 1.
