To provide a portable transceiver in which deterioration of antenna performance is minimized when it is held by hand, while combining downsizing and simplification in the configuration of a portable transceiver and guarantee of antenna performance.
A first ground pattern 106 and a second ground pattern 201 are placed at a predetermined interval and connected electrically via a signal connection part 205. A feeding part 107 and a part (a feeding land 204) of the second ground pattern 201 are connected electrically via a feeding member 104. The feeding land 204 and the signal connection part 205 are placed at a predetermined distance, and the signal connection part 205 also serves as the short circuit part of a reverse F antenna having a second substrate 200 as a radiation element. Furthermore, a display section 101 is provided, and at least a part of the second substrate 200 is located closer to the display section 101 at least one half of a portable receiver 100 in the thickness direction.
