Title:
POSITION DETECTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3869867
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a position detecting device which continue to move to a sufficient degree when an exterior power source device breaks down for a long time without requiring a buttery source and which performs energy switching for keeping action of the device corresponding to lowering of a supply power source.
CONSTITUTION: A device has at least one sensor for supplying an electric signal to an electron circuit part 20 for producing a digital signal unrelated to movement causing change of a position to be monitored and storing the signal in an intermediate storing device until the signal is fed to an evaluating device and a part of the kinetic energy of the motion is converted into electric energy by an energy converter and the electric energy is stored in an energy storing means 29 and the energy is supplied to the electronic circuit part 20. A control signal is provided by a voltage monitor circuit 32 corresponding to possibility that the supplied voltage drops under a dangerous critical value and the digital signal is written into nonvolatile data storing means 42, 50, 58 when the control signal is provided.
