Title:
POSITION DETECTOR FOR ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002255464
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate generation of bending fatigue of a wire rope 7 extended between the top/bottom in a hoistway ascending/descending a car of an elevator, make a rope life semi-permanent, moreover make a load applied to an encoder pulley 30 freely variably obtainable.

An encoder pulley 30 directly connected to an encoder 25 is mounted in a base bracket 61 fixedly provided in the car, this pulley 30 arranges in its external periphery a wire rope 7 and an idler pulley 40 opposed in the diametric direction. A bracket 62 axially locks one end to freely turn to the base bracket 61, the idler pulley 40 is axially locked to freely rotate to the other end of the bracket 62, a spring 50 pulling the idler pulley 40, while holding a linear tensile condition of the wire rope 7, to a side of the wire rope 7 and the encoder pulley 30 is provided. A micro switching 31 placed in an on- condition, when the idler pulley 40 is moved in the compression direction of the spring 50, is provided.
