PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection device, electronic apparatus, and position detection method capable of accurately detecting a position of a detection object in an image.SOLUTION: A position detection device includes: a distance calculation section for calculating a distance of a color coordinate at an object position in an object with respect to a color coordinate of a medium in a color space on the basis of a captured image obtained by imaging the media where the object is formed; and a position detection section for detecting a position of an object in the medium on the basis of a calculation result of the distance calculation section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
