To provide a position information providing device, which can be shared by a plurality of different operating organizations including searchers, can be utilized by a user easily and reduces economical and human burdens, and which acquires the position information of a terminal carried by a person to be searched and reports it to the searcher.
In an operating device 2, the input of a position information report destination to a terminal 3 of searcher corresponding to the number of a terminal 4 of person to be searched is received and these terminal number and report destination are transmitted to a position information providing device 1. An operating device managing means 102 stores received information in a user managing table 103 and manages the use conditions of the terminal 4 of person to be searched. A position information preparing means 108 searches for an address, where the coordinate of the terminal 4 of person to be searched acquired from a position providing device 5 by a position acquiring means 107 is positioned, prepares e-mail of position information and transmits it to the terminal 3 of searcher. A bill preparing means 111 prepares a bill for charging the terminal 4 of person to be searched in use on the basis of a terminal use condition table 104 and demands payment from a group operating the operating device 2.
