Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a location of an object to be estimated without going through a step of accurately measuring an amount of Doppler shift of a radio signal and the like, and to greatly improve estimation accuracy.SOLUTION: A location estimation system comprises: a flying body 30 that consecutively receives a radio signal transmitted from a signal transmitter 20 attached to an object in a process of flying on a flight trajectory made externally controllable; an observation unit 33 that observes a relative change tendency with respect to a location of data about the radio signal received by the flying body 30; and a location estimation unit 35 that obtains a condition satisfaction location where the observed relative change tendency of the data satisfies pre-set condition, obtains the condition satisfaction location over three or more points from the relative change tendency observed over three or more times from the observation unit 33 in a process of making the flying body 30 fly on a mutually different flight trajectory, and estimates a location of the object on the basis of three-dimensional location information at respective condition satisfaction locations and an equation of three or more planes having a direction vector substituted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
