PURPOSE: To provide a cheap control device by cutting off electric power for an induction motor on this side of a position to be positioned, stopping the rotor shaft of the motor and the driven body just before the position to be positioned after rotational movement of a certain angle, and mechanically performing the positioning after that by the use of a positioning member.
CONSTITUTION: A rotation transmitting member 8 is integratedly provided on a driven body, and contacted and engaged with the flat face part 5a of a power transmitting part 5 provided on the rotor shaft 4 at driving an induction motor 1. Hereby, rotation of the rotor shaft 4 is transmitted to the driven body. This motor is stopped by cutting off electric power, when the driven body is rotated up to this side of a position to be positioned, but the driven body is further rotated by a certain angle due to inertia force and stopped. When the driven body is stopped, the driven body is positined by engaging a positioning member 15a with the cutout parts 13, 14 of a rotary table 2.
