Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the positioning accuracy of a positioning device while keeping its configuration inexpensive.SOLUTION: A satellite positioning system comprises a satellite positioning device and a positioning correction information supplying device that supplies information regarding positioning satellites to the satellite positioning device. A correction information supplying device generates, regarding at least one positioning satellite, satellite information including information indicating the appropriateness regarding the use of satellite signals from the positioning satellite for positioning satellite, and transmits it to the satellite positioning device. The satellite positioning device decides, on the basis of the satellite information received from the positioning correction information supplying device, on satellite signals to be used for positioning, and figures out positional information on the basis of the satellite signals decided upon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
