Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection system capable of surely clarifying the position of a mobile body, and extending a life of a battery.SOLUTION: A position detection system (100) of a mobile body includes a mobile body identifier (10) held by the mobile body. The mobile body identifier (10) includes: an ID tag (12) to be started in response to a trigger signal from the outside; a timer (17) for setting a time corresponding to a position; and a GPS receiver (13). The GPS receiver (13) is not started when the trigger signal is detected by the ID tag (12), but is started only at a timer time set by the timer (17).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
