Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device for a synthetic resin molding, which allows the synthetic resin molding to be reliably and stably processed.SOLUTION: In a positioning device 10 for a synthetic resin molding to be processed, the synthetic resin molding has a positioning hole, and the positioning device 10 has a positioning pin 12 to be inserted in the positioning hole and a support plate for holding the synthetic resin molding. The positioning pin 12 has standard claws 12a a tip of which is split into a plurality pieces and openable in the lateral direction. After the standard claw 12a of the positioning pin 12 is fully inserted in the positioning hole of the synthetic resin molding, the split pieces of standard claws 12a open in the lateral direction so as to come into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the positioning hole. Consequently the synthetic resin molding is held at the position of the positioning hole.
