PURPOSE: To prevent the absorption of carbon dioxide and moisture by sealing a positive mix with an airtight resin film comprising three layer structure of polyethylene, nylon, and polyvinylidine chloride, and storing the mix until it is used for cell assembly.
CONSTITUTION: A positive mix 1 is formed in a pellet by primary molding. The mix pellets are sealed with a resin film comprising three layer structure of polyethylene, nylon, and polyvinylidene chloride. For example, the positive mixes are put in the resin film bag, and air is removed from the bag, then the opening of the bag is sealed by hot melting or ultrasonic melting process. When a battery is assembled, the positive mix is taken out from the bag. By storing the mix by this method, absorption of carbon dioxide and moisture into the positive mix is prevented by the airtightness of the film, and battery performance can be stabilized.
