Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an easy open tear control package, preferably a pouch, from a film of polymeric barrier material.
CONSTITUTION: Both sides of a center line 25 of a sheet film 10 is considered as a front surface 10F and a rear surface 10R of a pouch, and a roughened surface 20 is formed at a part of the sealed part divided by a dot line 35. The sheet film 10 is cut at the center line 25 and a horizontal line 30 and the front surface 10F and the rear surface 10R are overlapped to seal to form a pouch. The roughened surface 20 facilitates open tear control. The roughened surface 20 can extends to a full length of a pouch or a desired length. It is preferred that the sheet film 10 is a continuous extrusion laminated film.
