Title:
POURING MECHANISM FOR HOT-WATER SUPPLIER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6316849
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the thermal injury of a ladle bearing part by a molten metal by providing a shaft disposed in the direction orthogonal with a pivotal supporting pin of a swiveling arm of a hot-water supplier to said pivotal supporting pin, connecting one end of the shaft to a revolving shaft and fixing the other end to a ladle.

CONSTITUTION: The pivotal supporting pin 3 is pivotally fitted to the other end B of the arm 2 swiveling around the point A of a hot-water supplier body 1. A bracket C is provided to the pin 3 and a motor 9 and a gear head 10 are fixed thereto. A hold D is provided to the bracket C in the direction orthogonal with the pin 3 and the ladle shaft 12 loosely inserted into a bearing 8 is connected via a thrust receiving plate 14 to the shaft part E of the gear head 10. A molten metal G is put into the ladle 16 while the arm 2 is held positioned approximately horizontal and the ladle shaft 12 is held inclined at a prescribed angle; thereafter, the ladle 16 is guided by a prescribed procedure to a sprue to make a pouring action at the time of pouring. The pouring of even the molten metal having a high m.p. is thus executed without giving a thermal damage to the ladle bearing part.
