Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder-compact magnetic core low in loss and high in hardness.SOLUTION: A powder-compact magnetic core comprises: soft magnetic particles; and an insulator layer interposed between the soft magnetic particles. The soft magnetic particles are made of an Fe-Si-Al based alloy. In a section of the powder-compact magnetic core, the maximum diameter/equivalent circle diameter is 1.0-1.3. The insulator layer includes Si and O and further, an oxide of at least one kind of alkali metals and Mg. Alternatively, a powder-compact magnetic core comprises: soft magnetic particles; and an insulator layer interposed between the soft magnetic particles. In the powder-compact magnetic core, the soft magnetic particles are made of an Fe-Si-Al based alloy; the content of oxygen is 500 ppm or less; and the insulator layer includes Si and O and further, an oxide of at least one kind of alkali metals and Mg.
