Abstract:
To provide powder for a dust core capable of easily securing an insulation property among magnetic powder particles even in molding it into a dust core and in heat treatment after the molding.
This powder 10 for a dust core is prepared by coating the surface of each particle of magnetic powder 11 with at least an insulation layer 12. As the insulating layer 12, at least a first insulation layer 12a and a second insulation layer 12b are sequentially formed along the layer thickness direction of the insulation layer from the surface 11a of the particle of the magnetic powder 11, and the hardness of the second insulation layer 12b is higher than that of the first insulation layer 12a.
