Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder material capable of obtaining a larger heat value than MgFe2O4, and to provide a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: The powder material is represented by the general formula: Mg1-xAxFe2O4 (wherein A is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba; and the range of x is 0.05≤x≤0.95). The range of x in the general formula is preferably 0.2≤x≤0.8. In addition, the size of crystallite in the face (440) in the powder material is preferably 80-200 &angst .
