To provide a powder supply system with a plurality of powder storing containers 6 connected to a storage tank 8 in sequence for supplying powder from the containers to the storage tank and supplying the powder from the storage tank through a quantitative supply machine 10 in a quantitative manner without causing the leakage of the powder from the containers connected to the storage tank, when supplied to the storage tank, by surely preventing the leakage of the powder from the containers during transferring the containers.
The containers each include a container body having a discharge port formed in the lower end, a guide attached to the discharge port, a valve element for opening/closing the discharge port, a rod extending upward from the lower end fixed to the valve element to the outside of the container body, and a spring for downward biasing the rod to elastically bias the valve element to a closing position of closing the discharge port. The guide attached to the discharge port of the container body of the container is connected to the connection cylinder of the storage tank. A valve opening/closing means is arranged for moving the rod of the container up and down against the biasing operation of the spring with its upper end gripped to move the valve element up and down and open/close the discharge port.
