Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powdery or granular substance applicator which can smoothly and constantly apply the powdery or granular substance, such as an organic fertilizer, having a water content in a large amount and liable to adhere, can prevent the adhesion of the powdery or granular substance in a hopper, and can improve the efficiency of farm works.
SOLUTION: The circular surface of a notched lid 3 is slidably brought into contact with the bottom opening 2 of a hopper 1, and the lid 3 is rotatably, swingably and pivotally supported. When a swinging arm 6 fixed to the support shaft of the lid is disengaged from a rotary cam 10 and the rotary cam is rotated with an engine 9, the swinging arm is rotated against the energizing force of a spring for emerging in a closing direction to form a space between the swinging arm and the opening of the hopper, thus applying the powdery or granular substance and simultaneously crushing the substance to be applied. Further, when the cam is disengaged from the arm, the swinging arm is collided with a stopper 11 with the spring, thereby vibrating to prevent the adhesion of the substance to be applied.
