PURPOSE: To enhance bending force through a light weight bender by forming two triangular trusses symmetrically on the opposite sides of a common member, disposing a cable pusher at the lower end of the common member, and forming the common member entirely or partially of a hydraulic cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic cylinder 30 and rod members 32A, 34A are jointed rotatably through pins 36, 38, 40A to form a substantially right triangular truss 42A. Similarly, the hydraulic cylinder 30 and rod members 32B, 34B are jointed rotatably through pins 36, 38, 40B to form a substantially right triangular truss 42B. A pusher 46 is disposed at the lower end of the piston rod 31 of the hydraulic cylinder 30 where the bottom face of the pusher 46 is curved in conformity with a cable 10.
