Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use generated electric power without any waste when storing the generated electric power in a storage battery.SOLUTION: A power conditioner stores at least one of generated electric power of a power generation device and electric power supplied from a commercial power system in a storage battery. The power conditioner comprises a DC conversion part, a bidirectional conversion part, an electric power transmission path, a voltage comparison part, and a conversion control part. The DC conversion part converts the generated electric power of the power generation device into DC electric power. The bidirectional conversion part performs forward conversion and backward conversion of electric power from the commercial electric power system. The DC conversion part and bidirectional conversion part are connected to the electric power transmission path, and electric power to be supplied to the storage battery flows. The voltage conversion part detects a voltage value of the electric power flows through the electric power transmission path and compares the voltage value with a predetermined threshold value. The conversion control part controls a conversion direction of the bidirectional conversion part based upon a comparison result of the voltage comparison part.
