When constituting a control system of the inverter for converting power between AC and DC, a current flowing in an AC circuit is detected, a frequency calculation is implemented, based on the biaxial voltage quantity obtained through two current adjuster so as to match biaxial component currents obtained by implementing a rotational coordinate conversion with instruction values, phase information in synchronization with an electromotive force power supply in the AC circuit is obtained by integrating the calculation result, and the rotational coordinate conversion of the AC current is implemented and a PWM switching signal is generated from the biaxial voltage quantity. Thereby the inverter is operated and the required power conversion control is implemented.
