Power conversion equipment 1 includes: a plurality of battery units P1 and P2 in which a photovoltaic power generation panel group makes a constitutional unit; a connection device 2 which includes a circuit for connecting each of the battery units P1 and P2 in parallel through parallel connection switches S1 and S2 and a circuit for connecting each of the battery units P1 and P2 in series through a series connection switch S3, and selects a connection configuration of the entire circuit including the plurality of battery units P1 and P2 by selecting on/off of each of the switches S1-S3; and an inverter 3 which converts a DC power outputted from the entire circuit to an AC power.
