Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of a motive power transmitting mechanism by transmitting rotational motive power from a prime mover to a cutter driving pulley for a cutter and a fan driving pulley for a dust sucking removing fan through a common belt.
SOLUTION: Rotational driving force from an internal combustion engine is transmitted to a fan driving pulley 62 and a relay two-stage pulley 48 through a V ribbed belt 35 from a centrifugal latch 30. An impeller of a dust sucking fan 21 is driven in rotation through a shaft for the dust sucking fan 60. Rotational driving force transmitted to the relay two-stage pulley 48 is also transmitted to a cutter 16 through a small diameter relay pulley 48b, a timing belt 55, the final pulley 58 and a driving shaft 37. Therefore, the cutter 16 is driven in rotation.
