Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a propeller-type water turbine of a conventional seawater power generating set becomes impossible to generate power due to a stop of rotation caused by the deformation and damage of a blade, and maintenance is required.SOLUTION: A power generating method utilizes a ship body which has anchors at right and left side faces, respectively, and floats on a sea level, and a power generating set in which a detachable filer net is provided at a flow-in port of a cylindrical flow conduit having a proper length, and which is provided in a proper position in the conduit. The flow conduit is fixed to a lower part of the ship body, the anchors at the right and left side faces are dropped on the sea bottom in a state that the flow conduit is oriented in a flow of an ocean current, the ship body is anchored, the respective anchors and the ship body form a trapezoid when viewed from the flow of the ocean current, the flow conduit is disposed inside the trapezoid, and thus power is generated.
