To provide a power generation method and a power generation device which are capable of permanently generating electrical energy with no supply of energy or action substances from the outside or with no replacement due to exhaustion thereof at the inside.SOLUTION: In a power generation device, piezoelectric effects that are mutual conversion characteristics of mechanical energy and electrical energy of piezoelectric materials such as quartz and ceramic are used.
