Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine materialization of an executing condition for stopping time control to reduce an engine speed to zero with a prescribed deceleration in a power output device used in a hybrid vehicle. SOLUTION: This power output device 110 is provided with a planetary gear 120, an engine 150 coupled with a crankshaft 156 to its planetary carrier, and a motor MG1 mounted on a sun gear. The engine 150 is not stopped immediately even when operation of the engine 150 is not required already to be continued because of a SOC of a battery or the like, but, for example, processing to stop the speed of the engine 150 with a prescribed deceleration is executed only when an ABS device 140 is not operated, cancel for reaction force is allowed, and a vehicle speed is within a prescribed range. The engine is stopped without feeling a reaction shock accompanied with the engine stop.
