In the power source device for a vehicle, the cover plate 4 for blocking an opening portion of the case main body 1A is fixed by the set screw 23. The set screw 23 screws into the case main body 1A by penetrating a washer 26, cushion material 27, and the cover plate 4. The washer 26 has a peripheral wall 26B projecting out toward the cover plate 4 along the outer periphery of a disc portion 26A. The suction material 27 has thickness d in a non-compressing state thicker than the height h of the peripheral wall 26B, and is arranged in the peripheral wall of washer 26. The set screw 23 is screwed in to the case main body until fastening end, and a peripheral wall tip end edge of the washer 26 is pressed against the surface of the cover plate 4. The cushion material 27 is compressed by the disc portion 26A of the washer 26 and the cover plate 4 to have a waterproof structure.
