To provide a power storage apparatus with high reliability which is capable of suppressing a malfunction where power supply from a power storage section to a load is stopped, even if an output voltage of the power storage section is reduced, by stably operating power supply from the power storage section to the load and power supply stop even if there is any abnormality in an A/D conversion section.
A changeover switch 34 is provided which switches on/off output for outputting power of a power storage section 21 to a load 13, and a control section 22 inputs voltage which is lower than a reference voltage Vref of an A/D conversion section 23 outputted from a reference voltage regulator 31 from an inspection voltage regulator 32 and monitors conversion accuracy of the A/D conversion section 23. If the conversion accuracy is determined abnormal, the control section 22 performs only monitoring of the conversion accuracy of the A/D conversion section 23 while maintaining the state of ON/OFF of the changeover switch 34 just before the determination and performs an ending operation after the lapse of a specified monitoring time Ta but, when the conversion accuracy of the A/D conversion section 23 is determined again normal within the specified monitoring time Ta, returns to normal control.
