Title:
POWER SUPPLY CONTROLLING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59225418
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent surely the runaway of a controller by allowing the circuit to cut off the power supply to a load when no control signal is applied so as to apply initial reset of the load.

CONSTITUTION: An input voltage at a terminal 1 is applied to a controller including a microcomputer via a transistor (TR) 56 of a switching circuit and a stabilized power supply 4 only when an intermittent control signal (a) is applied to a terminal 2. A signal generating circuit comprising resistors 20W27, capacitors 28W31, and TRs32W35 generates an intermittent output signal when the control signal (a) is not applied over a prescribed time depending on a charging time constant comprising the capacitor 29 and the resistor 27 to the terminal 2. The output signal intermits the power supply fed to the controller by turning on/ off the TR56. Since the controller has an initial reset function, the reset operation is conducted surely by the intermission of the said power supply.
