Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the variation of charging/discharging characteristics due to the temperature difference between unit batteries by providing main refrigerant passages exposed to the unit batteries in storage battery pack and auxiliary refrigerant passages connected with downstream end sections to the main refrigerant passages at the positions corresponding to the midstream or downstream of the storage battery pack.
SOLUTION: Multiple unit batteries 1 are arranged in a line in the same axial direction in partitioned battery hold sections 3 to form storage battery rows. Main refrigerant passages 5 are formed with the bulkheads of the battery hold sections 3 and space sections between the storage battery pack, and auxiliary refrigerant passages 4 are formed between the battery hold sections 3 in the horizontal direction. A refrigerant such as air is fed to a storage battery group, the fed refrigerant passes through the main refrigerant passages 5 to cool all unit batteries 1 of the storage battery pack arranged in the battery hold sections 3. The refrigerant flowing into the auxiliary refrigerant passages 4 merges with the main refrigerant passages 5 through the slits 4a formed on the midstream and downstream.
