Abstract:
To prolong the lifetime of a battery charger becoming a power supply by eliminating the impact from a heat source on the equipment.
Electronic equipment includes a plurality of battery chargers 40A and 40B, and a power supply processing section 38 which detects the temperature and residual capacity of the battery chargers 40A and 40B, respectively, calculates the continuous drive time of the plurality of battery chargers 40A and 40B, respectively, according to the detection results, selects the plurality of battery chargers 40A and 40B cyclically based on the continuous drive time thus calculated, and supplies electric power from a selected battery charger 40A or 40B to a load in the equipment 10.
