Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that achieves power saving in monitoring an object to be detected by using a sensor when a switching power supply is stopped.SOLUTION: A power-supply system includes: a switching power supply 20; a small-capacity power supply 30 having a smaller power-supply capacity than the switching power supply; a sensor 6 outputting a detection voltage according to an object to be detected; and control devices (60 and 70). The control device 70 includes: reference-voltage generating circuits (73 and 76) receiving power from the small-capacity power supply 20 and generating reference voltages Vbs1 and Vbs2; a comparison circuit 74 comparing a detection voltage Vd from the sensor 6 with a reference voltage and generating a comparison voltage Vco that is a comparison result; and a monitoring section 71 monitoring the object to be detected on the basis of the comparison voltage Vco during stop of the switching power supply.
