To provide a power supplying apparatus for vehicles that can be operated using energy accumulating unit where voltage and temperature changes, can correct voltage eccentricity, temperature eccentricity, and can continue to supply power even when the energy accumulating unit is nonoperational.
A power supplying apparatus (10) comprises a plurality of battery modules (16, 18), an electrical bus (24), an electrical converter (14) operable so as to shift energy from respective battery modules (16, 18) to the electrical bus (24) connected to the battery modules (16, 18), and at least one controller (22) communicating with the converter (14), as well as includes a control unit (22) configured to determine information in connection with at least one of respective operating characteristics of the battery modules (16, 18), to respond at least partially to at least one of respective operating characteristics, and to independently control energy shifted from respective battery modules (16, 18).
