Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make charge and discharge limits in a power source system smaller than those in such a power source system that a nickel hydrogen battery or lithium ion battery is exclusively included.SOLUTION: A power source system 10 comprises: a secondary battery block 12 in which lithium ion battery cells 20a and nickel hydrogen battery cells 20b are arrayed in line with a heat-conducting member 25 put therebetween so as to alternate with each other; a power converter block 14 including a plurality of electrically series-connected power converters 32 which are connected respectively with pairs of terminals of the lithium ion battery cells 20a and nickel hydrogen battery cells 20b; and a controller 60 which makes a charge/discharge power with the nickel hydrogen battery cells 20b larger than that with the lithium ion battery cells 20a in the case of a low battery temperature, and which makes a charge/discharge power with the lithium ion battery cells 20a larger than that with the nickel hydrogen battery cells 20b in the case of a high battery temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
