To provide a power tool suppressing a rise in the temperature of an overall power tool by easily reducing the temperature rise of a motor.
In a power tool 2 of the present invention, an armature 11, a fan 20 attached to the armature 11, a cylindrical yoke 21 provided on an outer periphery of the armature 11 adjacently to the fan 20 with a permanent magnet 22 fixed on an inner surface are accommodated in a housing 5, and an exhaust hole 30 for exhausting blast of the fan 20 and a fan guide 25 provided between the yoke 21 and the fan 20, are provided in a part of the housing 5. In the power tool thus constructed, a gap is provided between the outer periphery of the yoke 21 and the housing 5, and between the yoke 21 and the fan guide 25, and at least one suction hole 28 is provided in a part of the housing 5 opposed to the outer peripheral surface of the yoke 21.
