To improve steering stability by arranging a power train at the rear side of a vehicle, and to properly perform a layout of an exhaust system auxiliary machinery.
In this vehicle, a part of the power train 11 for driving wheels is arranged in a recessed part 5 recessed to the rear side of a vehicle body provided in a dash panel 3 for partitioning a cabin 1 and an engine room 2. This power train 11 is provided with an engine body 12 arranged in a vertically installed type in the engine room 2, and a transmission 13. A heat exchanger 18 for cooling the engine is arranged in front of an engine body 12. An exhaust pipe 22 extending from the engine body 12 to the front side of a vehicle body is arranged between the heat exchanger 18 and the engine body 12. The exhaust system auxiliary machinery 26 provided in the exhaust pipe 22 is arranged at a position adjacent to a lower part of a front part of the engine body 20. The engine body 12 is constituted to be warmed up by the heat of the exhaust system auxiliary machinery 26.
