Abstract:

To securely obtain an engagement starting point of a clutch even when a phenomenon in which an input shaft of a transmission is slightly rotated due to rotation of an engine occurs with the clutch disengaged.

When a vehicle is stopped, the transmission is in a neutral state (all sleeve strokes SSt=0 (home position)), the clutch is in a disengaged state (clutch stroke CSt=0 (home position)) and the engine is running (engine speed NE>0), first, the sleeve stroke (SSt) for a specified sleeve is made to gradually increase from "0" (t1 onwards). Then, based on the fact that the SSt reaches a predetermined value A enabling operation of a synchro action of a synchro mechanism, the SSt is fixed at the predetermined value A, and the clutch stroke CSt starts to increase from "0" toward the pressure bonding direction (time t2). Based on the subsequent change in the rotating speed Ni of the input shaft Ni of the transmission, the clutch engagement start point CStlearn is acquired (time t3).
