Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of simply, easily, quickly and appropriately changing the center distance of a pair of driving wheels such as pulleys, and always applying proper tension on a winding transmission member such as a belt, etc., without need for a tension roller.
SOLUTION: A cam adjusting mechanism (40) is provided with a spindle (42) secured to a driving side supporting member (2) or a follower side supporting member (20) parallel to revolving axes (Oa and Ob) of first and second driving wheels (11 and 12), and a cam (50) rotatably and outward inserted in the spindle (42) via an adjusting boss member (45). The cam (50) relatively moves the follower side supporting member (20) for the driving side supporting member (2) corresponding to the rotational adjusting angle of the adjusting boss member (45) to change the center distance (Ls).
