Abstract:

To easily and definitely remove dust from a dusting object by contacting or putting an electrode with/close to the dusting object.

The precipitator has a power supply and the electrode 30 from which voltage is applied. The dust attached to the dusting object is removed by contacting or putting the electrode with/close to it. The dusting object may be a conductor or an insulator or both a conductor and an insulator. In addition, the voltage applied to the electrode is a positive/negative pulse voltage or a positive/negative alternating voltage or the same polarity as in a charged polarity of the dust or a direct current of reverse polarity. The dusting object is at least a pinball bead, the body of a vehicle, a printed circuit board, a cubicle formed of a metal, a frame of glasses, a plastic lens, a piece of plastic, a piece of fiber, a piece of wood, or a cubicle formed of paper.
