Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce sintered ore having excellent reduction pulverization resistance without spoiling reducibility and cold strength by forming pseudo particles contg. CaO at a higher ratio and pseudo particles contg. CaO at a lower ratio and mixing and calcining such particles at the time of producing self-fluxing sintered ore. CONSTITUTION:The high CaO component raw material prepd. by mixing iron ore contg. at least >=2wt% Al2O3 and respectively >=20wt% of limestone contg. >=35% of <=0.25mm grain size and pellet feed iron ore is humidified and pelletized to form the pseudo particles with the A raw material contg. the CaO at the higher ratio at the time of producing the self-fluxing sintered ore. On the other hand, the pseudo particles of the B raw material contg. the CaO at the lower ratio are formed. These pseudo particles are mixed to 15/85-50/50 by dry weight of the ratio between the pseudo particles of the A raw material/ the pseudo particles of the B raw material, then the mixture is sintered. The compsn. in which the CaO exists macroscopically uniformly and exists microscopically unevenly is obtd. The sintered ore having the excellent reducibility, reduction pulverization resistance and cold strength is obtd.
