Abstract:
To provide a preliminary pressure measurement method of a roller bearing apparatus for accurately measuring a preliminary pressure.
First and second outer wheels 4, 5 are fixed while they are not rotated. First and second conical rollers 6, 7 are axially pressed, and the preliminary pressure is applied by axially pressing first and second inner wheels 2, 3. A load is applied to a spacer 8 in the direction of a relative movement to the first outer wheel 4. The preliminary pressure of the conical roller bearing apparatus is measured based on the load applied to the spacer 8 when the spacer 8 is moved relative to the first outer wheel 4.
