Abstract:
To provide a preload measuring device of a rolling bearing device capable of further accurately measuring a preload.
A first outer ring 4 and a second outer ring 5 are fixed in a nonrotatable state. The preload is applied by pressing a first tapered roller 6 and a second tapered roller 7 in the axial direction by pressing a first inner ring 2 and a second inner ring 3 in the axial direction. Afterwards, a load is applied to an intermediate ring 32 in the direction for relatively rotating the intermediate ring 32 to the outer ring 4, and the preload of the rolling bearing device is measured based on the load applied to the intermediate ring 32 in a state of relatively rotating the intermediate ring 32 to the first outer ring 4.
