PURPOSE: To obtain a dried persimmon wrapped with a leaf of beefsteak plant and having delicious taste, by using a red leaf of beefsteak plant immersed preliminarily in a saline water added with citric acid and pickled with plum juice, preparing a dried persimmon impregnated with a syrup prepared by adding sugar to hot tea, wrapping the dried persimmon with the leaf of beefsteak plant, impregnating honey juice to the persimmon and packaging the product.
CONSTITUTION: After removing harsh components from a red leaf of beefsteak plant, the leaf is immersed in saline water added with citric acid and then in plum juice separated from unripe plum fruit. Separately, a high-quality dried persimmon is subjected to the removal of foreign materials, white powder and calyx, immersed in a syrup produced by adding sugar to hot tea, left stand for several weeks, and taken out of the syrup. The impregnated persimmon is wrapped with the pickled leaf of beefsteak plant, arranged in a pickling cask while reforming the persimmon to round shape, poured with a honey juice composed of starch syrup, SHOCHU (unrefined low-class spirits), a small amount of citric acid and water, and left stand. When the dried persimmon is soaked sufficiently with the honey, the dried persimmon wrapped with the leaf of beefsteak plant is transferred together with the honey juice into a sealable container and packaged to obtain the objective dried persimmon wrapped with a leaf of beefsteak plant.
