To provide an external preparation containing activated vitamin D and an UV absorber, having improved light-stability of activated vitamin D and useful for the treatment of intractable skin diseases such as psoriasis.

This preparation contains (A) an activated vitamin D such as (23S)-26,26,26,27,27,27-hexafluoro-1α,23,25-trihydroxy vitamin D3 as an active component and (B) preferably 0.01-2wt.% (based on the preparation) of an UV absorber such as benzophenone compound, p-aminobenzoic acid compound, cinnamic acid compound, salicylic acid compound, anthranil compound, vitamin E compound, 4-t-butyl-4'-methoxy-benzoylmethane or urocanic acid (ethyl ester).
