Title:
PREPARATION METHOD FOR SILVER-DISPERSED CARBON MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3148893
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain pitch excellent in plasticity eluting a silver ion at a constant concentration less than a regulated value for a long term which is prepared by polycondensation reaction of the mixture obtained by dissolving silver acetate into quinoline or a mixed solution of quinoline and acetic acid followed by mixing this mixture with an organic material of pitch preparation.
SOLUTION: After dissolving, for example, silver acetate controlled below about 50 wt.% of the concentration into quinoline or a quinoline-acetic acid solution added with, for example, 0.01-10 wt.% acetic acid, the silver acetate solution obtained is mixed into an organic compound of a pitch preparation material wherein the silver concentration in a carbon material prepared is adjusted to 0.01-10 wt.%, preferably 0.1-5 wt.%. Next, the mixture obtained is polycondensed by heat treatment, for example, with blowing active gases such as O2 and O3 or inert gases such as N2 and Ar. As an organic material, coal- or petroleum-heavy oil, soluble polymers and the like are illustrated, besides wood chips and coconut shells.
